Discuss how to integrate herbs into your space/design.
Explore some culinary and medicinal uses of herbs.

Autumn abundance preserves 10am to 1pm – £40
In this course, we will cover drying, storing, preserving and pickling fruit, vegetables and herbs including:
We will discuss the health benefits of eating seasonally and fermented produce.
The course will include theory and practical activities (such as making chutney and/or jam, pickling onions, and preparing sauerkraut) as well as tastings!
Please bring empty food jars if you wish to take food home with you.

Year-round crop planning 2pm to 4pm – £40
For crop planning year round, we will discuss which fruit and vegetables are ready to harvest throughout the year, plan a year-round edible planting plan and identify (and taste) different fruits and vegetables.
This workshop is aimed at encouraging you to grow food at home and/or work, in small or large spaces and planning for crops all year round.

Forest gardening 10am to 4pm – £75
Identify key plant species for each growth layer.
Assess examples of forest garden design.
Through interacting with nature and the outside world, we will explore how to design a low maintenance food forest with high yields and low maintenance.
There will be practical activities as well as theory.
